Path of the Just

This week we had some fairweather. It was over 40 degrees for two days. But it went from 50 degrees into the morning on Friday, to about 10-15 by 8 o clock.

This week I got to go on an exchange with Elder Bouck from Texas. We got to teach a family the restoration our first evening. The next day we were knocking on a street and getting nothing but rejection so we left. Right as we left that street we ran into a girl that we contacted and invited to be baptized and she accepted and we set up a time to go back and teach her more.

We got anti-ed by a man that in the beginning he was talking about the native Americans knowing Hebrew and having the records of Moses. We shared a little bit about the book of Mormon but he just started rebuttaling us said Jesus was black and he only came to save the Israelites so he would not read the book of mormon. It is so sad to meet people that are so close yet so far.

We are trying to plan for Angels baptism but she got sick again :-( she wasn't able to come to church.

Anaklet is doing awesome. We found out the young men took him to mutual and he loved it. We are trying to get the baptismal questions in Swahili, and guess what. A girl that I have met who goes to the YSA ward here speaks Swahili and lives in our ward. I just happen to be in the YSA for a day or so when Elder Vizcaìno left so I met her.
Anaklet said he would come to church but didn't make it and we don't know why yet. He said something really inspiring when we asked him if he could walk in the cold to church. He asked us who created the cold. He repeated it, "who created the cold". We answered, God. He said, "exactly. So I will walk in it to come and worship him."

I am looking forward to hearing from the quorum of the twelve Apostles and Prophets on Tuesday.

I hope everything is going well for everyone.

Proverbs 4:18-19
".. , the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble."

As we make right choices our path will become brighter and brighter as we walk and one day we will be able to see we are not alone.
